Katie Linendoll on DA Show – CBS Sports Radio Father’s Day Gift Ideas!

You know I love me some DA and the boys. It’s great to be back in-studio (virtually) to share some top Father’s Day gadget ideas.

I’ve given some of my top picks, and the full segment is below if you’d like to watch it live!

SPRYNG Muscle recovery

SPRYNG is a wireless muscle recovery tool – simply wrap the compression sleeve around each of your calves. It couldn’t be easier to use.   As a big runner and fitness enthusiast, I have been testing it for weeks now as active compression with very positive results.

SPRYNG is made to relieve tired muscles and improve circulation and the best part is that it feels like a 15-minute massage. The device includes two different compression patterns developed by doctors and three levels of intensity. The big differentiator is the wireless technology that easily recharges with a micro-USB cord into any wall outlet. My friends use leg compression tools, but they look like something out of the 1970s compared to the sleek and portable SPRYNG. Interesting note: And it’s not just for athletes - in reading the reviews I was intrigued by how many different individuals have benefited from CrossFit athletes to cyclists, to travelers to even those with vascular issues and MS.

Heavy Duty Electronic Coin Sorter

Who doesn’t have a bunch of change lying around? I had to bite the bullet and buy this device. The machine uses anti-jam technology and can sort through over 300 coins a minute. Two rows of plastic tubes sort pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters into wrappers, and then the total amount is displayed digitally. I recommend purchasing the extra coin rolls.

The Mirror

Okay, this one might take the entire family plus long lost relatives to pitch in but it’s worth the investment and a great way to level up that dad bod!

I am big into fitness and have found The Mirror pretty awesome. I have been using it since Christmas. The Mirror has many categories of fitness classes from cardio to family fun to boxing. There are also a number of trainers, difficulty levels, and options like “no equipment” or weights and time length. It’s amazing how you can get a great workout right in a small space in your own home. Appears there is a Father’s Day code: FathersDay20

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700

As a consumer tech expert, you can expect that I have a LOT of headphones in all styles.

I have personally gifted over five pairs of Bose noise-canceling headphones, which always receive rave reviews. Bose 700 Bluetooth headphones are great for traveling, working from home, or just enjoying your favorite podcast or music on a walk. They tout up to 20 hours battery life, have adjustable noise cancelation, an extremely comfortable set up, and come in a sleek carrying pouch.

Disclaimer: Bose sent this new version of 700 to Katie to test

Noxgear Tracer360

This LED light up vest is great for dad's early morning walks or evening bike rides.

Experience 360 LED visibility all around your body in a lightweight 7oz vest with 40 hours of battery time. The LEDs are visible up to ¼ mile away and completely weatherproof!

Yeti 20oz Rambler Tumbler with Magslider Lid

Yeti ramblers are a fantastic gift for all occasions and a gift that Dad will genuinely use for years.

Pop’s beverage will stay hot or cold for hours as Yeti craftsmanship does not disappoint. The Rambler is made from stainless steel and double-wall insulation plus its UV resistant, fingerprint resistant, and dishwasher safe. Who knew a cup could be so hi-tech? Bonus: I’ve gifted personalized Ramblers which is extra awesome (choose a team logo or add an inscription) – they usually ship very fast but, the customized ones will take some extra time.

Squirrel Picnic Table

Okay so call it my wildcard, but I LOVE squirrels and apparently squirrels also me and my backyard.

I found it quite amusing that a recent online trend was to build squirrel picnic tables. If you’re DIY crafty go ahead and build one for your pops.  Or if you wanna go my route and save some time head on over to your local hardware store and see if they carry one pre-built. I got mine for under $10. I also linked here to one I found on Etsy because I like supporting small businesses!
