ON-AIR

With two Emmy nominations, one win, and thousands of hours of TV involvement, Katie is one of the most experienced and in-demand TV consumer tech experts.

Katie Linendoll started her on-air career at age 19 as a host for ESPN2 SportsZone while simultaneously earning her degree in IT New Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She honed her skills at ESPN Headquarters working on shows, including SportsCenter and Outside the Lines where she earned an Emmy Award for her behind-the-scenes work.

Katie then decided to go back in front of the camera to co-host an Emmy nominated show for A&E, “We Mean Business,” where she helped design and implement tech makeovers for small, struggling family-owned businesses.

This led her to a variety of roles including her first foray into news as a tech contributor for the CBS “Early Show” and CNET. She also hosted her own show on Spike TV, “All Access Weekly” which covered tech, gaming, comics, and featured interviews with top celebrities and innovators from Norman Reedus to Elijah Wood and Steve Carell.

Katie quickly created a niche for her gadget and technology segments on air, coining the term, “Around the World in Katie Days” to describe her travels around the globe where she captures intimate stories of game changing, innovative technologies.

Katie has contributed to the TODAY Show for over seven years and has produced and contributed on-air content regularly to The Weather Channel, Rachael Ray, and CBS Sports Radio. She runs her own production company which shoots, edits, and produces TV segments for the likes of The Weather Channel and Popular Science.

Her bylines, profiles and on-air work include The Wall Street Journal, Hallmark Home & Family, Sports Illustrated, Men’s Journal, Marie Claire, Shape.com, Popular Science, SiriusXM, CNET, NBC News, Fox News, CNN, Inside Edition and others.

In addition to her frequent TV appearances and speaking engagements, Katie also produces and hosts a digital series on Instagram TV (IGTV) and YouTube called Technically, Katie, where she regularly showcases the latest in technology and cutting edge innovations.
